Windows provides you the opportunity to do so. All you need to do is go to your Local Security Policy and do the following changes.
From here you can adjust the value of "Account Lockout threshold" and give it a number from 0 to 999.
Windows provides you the opportunity to do so. All you need to do is go to your Local Security Policy and do the following changes.
To go to your local security policy, you can
- Go to Run and type "secpol.msc" and hit enter or
- Access it directly using "C:\Windows\System32\secpol.msc." or
- Go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Double Click "Local Security Policy"
Now in the left side window pane of the policy, select "Account Policies" and hit "Account Lockout Policy".
From here you can adjust the value of "Account Lockout threshold" and give it a number from 0 to 999.
0 is the default value and means never go into lockdown state.
Set the number you wish to and press "OK" to confirm and you are done!
